Head of coaching
I’m Tiina Ven, Head of Coaching at Wellbeing Superstars, a rehabilitation and activity expert, a wellbeing coach, and an advocate of work-life balance.
Coaching is in my DNA. I've been coaching rowers for over 30 years, and that's probably why I often connect the dots between competitive sports and wellbeing coaching. In sport, we talk about coaching, and at work we talk about management, but there are a huge amount of touch points between the two.
Success in sport and in work is rarely down to chance, and result-driven engagement cannot be created through external pressures, it is built within the community.
Inspiring and motivating work culture is born out of investing in wellbeing, developing skills, and increasing responsibility. Employee attraction, engagement and retention is a huge thing, and it can be achieved through working towards shared goals. Everyone should be able to feel that their work is important and meaningful.
Wellbeing at work and in life is, of course, also personally important to me. I am energised by exercise and sport, and spending time together with family and friends – but I also like to be challenged at work to build on the successes of our clients.
