Occupational Health Psychologist
I’m Taina Kinnari, Wellbeing Superstars’ resident psychologist, an occupational health specialist and an enabler of a good and balanced everyday life.
During my career, I have had the opportunity to work at the forefront of Finnish occupational health. My work as a psychologist at the Finnish Institute of Occupational Health has given me a deep insight into the holistic impact of health and wellbeing on people's lives. Work and leisure go hand in hand – wellbeing in everyday life is reflected in wellbeing at work. Both at work and at home, wellbeing is influenced by many things, both within and outside of an individual's control. In the balance lies the essence of a good life.
Apart from working with colleagues and clients at Wellbeing Superstars, I work every day at a medical centre as an occupational health psychologist. There, I see a lot of people who are struggling with challenges at work, and that’s sometimes hard to face. At Wellbeing Superstars, I get to do preventative work that promotes occupational health and supports wellbeing, together with a skilled coaching team and clients who are dedicated to their employees.
Work-life balance is also important to me personally. To counterbalance my intellectually demanding work, I have a very special child at home who requires and deserves my total presence. My personal time is often limited, and therefore I want to do work that feeds my interest and develops my professional skills.
